Startup Inspector 2.8 is a program that gives you control over the programs that Windows opens on startup.
The program checks the applications in the Windows Startup Folder and Registry and provides you with a background information of them.
Besides, you can check the author´s web page on www.windowsstartup.com for information on more than 4900 programs that can be run at your Windows startup process, whether a program is necessary to the system, or the program is a spyware.
Startup Inspector removes harmful programs like spyware, virus, dialers, and unnecessary programs like reminders and monitors, making your
system healthier and improving its performance.
When you first run the program, it will show you a list of the applications that your system run on startup. It will provide their names, files run, their startup location, rating and memory usage.
At first, every rating will be "Unknown", but if you´re connected to Internet, you can press "Consult" and the program will check the author´s web site to look for the up to date rating for that program. Right clicking on a rating you can perform different tasks over the highlighted item.
